Thank you to all the amazing people in our dance community who filled in the survey - the results are in! Drumroll please... "How often do you go out social dancing on average?" The survey results show that both amateur and semi-pro / pro dancers like to go out social dancing on a regular basis. Most dancers go out 2-3 times per week, which is true for both amateurs and semi-pros / pros. However, semi-pros / pros were more like to say they only go out once per week - which makes sense since they spend more time getting their dance fix through teaching, rehearsing and training! "How many hours of dance class / performance team practice / dance training do you do?" Unsurprisingly, semi-pro / pro dancers spend more time taking classes, rehearsing and training (it is their job after all!), with the average being 4-10 hours per week. Amateur dancers fall into two groups: those who don't take classes (28% of survey respondents) and those who do. For those amateurs who do take classes and train, most said they do anywhere between 1-10 hours of classes, rehearsal and training per week. Thank you again to everyone who filled out the survey and stay tuned for the next blog post!
